Introduction

This site is dedicated to those who model the world around them, especially if that world centers around train tracks. It contains lots of tips, techniques, and prototype information to make your modeling projects easier and better looking.

While there are many ways to achieve the same results, the techniques presented here are generally those that have worked out the best for me. I have included a few things that look promising but I have not yet had a chance to try. I will let you know what I have tried, and what I haven't.

This site has been active for about a year now, so hopefully most of the technical bugs have been ironed out.  However I must admit that this is probably just wishful thinking on my part.  The content of the site is in constant flux, I try to add something new every week or so.  I also can't resist tinkering with the presentation of the information.  Please let me know if you have any suggestions.

If you try anything from here, please let me know how it worked out for you. If you have had success using a particular technique from somewhere else, please consider sharing it.  If you are interested in learning more than this site provides, I would suggest you look at some of the books listed in the reference library.   These books all provide a vast amount of useful information, and are well worth the investment.
